Chinese Dragon

The ancient Chinese self-identified as "the gods of the dragon" because the Chinese dragon is an imagined reptile that represents evolution from the ancestors energy and imperial authority.

Dragons are believed to be the rulers of moving bodies of water, such as waterfalls, rivers, seas, and the dispenser of rain.

The Goldfish was one of the first domesticated fishes in China over a thousand years ago.

You can see them swimming around the ponds in the nice Chinese Gardens.

It has evolved over time and it has a wide variety of species.

Chinese Characters

Chinese characters are logograms developed for the writing of Chinese.

In modern Chinese, the majority of Chinese words today consist of two or more characters.

These letters are written in a very specific way.

A sky lantern, also known as Kongming lantern, or Chinese lantern, is a small hot air balloon made of paper, with an opening at the bottom where a small fire is suspended.

You don't have to build them during class time. Just at home or during your breaks (playground)

If you finish one of them:

  • You will receive a special certificate

  • We will exhibit your mockup in the hall of the school

  • We will take a photo of you and your mockup and it will be uploaded to Mirasur's Facebook page and to the MirArt webpage.

Who knows! Maybe you become a famous paper artist one day!
