What is Pop-Art?
Pop art is an art movement that started in Britain and the United States between 1950 and 1960. The movement included images from popular and mass culture, such as advertising, cinema, comic books and mundane cultural objects. It is also associated with the artists' use of mechanical means of reproduction techniques.

ACTIVITIES
- Pop Yourself! Choose or take a photo of yourself with a plain background (one colour and smooth texture). Then open this link in Google Chrome, upload your photo, create your Pop Art Picture based on Andy Warhol, download it and upload it to Google Classroom!
- Warhol it! Select an everyday object or character and draw it on an A4 paper coloring it with two bright colours and black. When you finish, upload a photo to Google Classroom. See some examples here: Rolling Stones, John Lennon, Telephone and Mouth.
- Comic & Dots Look at the presentation "Roy Lichtenstein in Focus" and the video you will find in the last slide. Look for png images in Google Images and make your own Roy Lichtenstein picture in Adobe Draw Illustrator! Follow the guide of the video.
